Summer is here at Wood Wind Golf Academy!! Junior Golf 2010 headlines the summer activities. We are also featuring a complete putting evaluation with tech support from Aimpoint, Edel Golf, and Science and Motion PuttLab!

Aimpoint (the Blue putting line on the golf channel) is available in clinic sessions, Edel Putter fittings and PuttLab sessions are available in private appointments.

Wood Wind's services and instruction are based on the Academy's mission statement: to promote the game of golf by providing a facility and instruction dedicated to the highest of standards. Our Instruction philosophy is that any student at any age with the proper attitude can acquire the skills necessary to achieve realistic goals.

Are you looking for experienced junior golf instruction? Wood Wind offers instruction for golfers from four to seventeen years old, of all skill levels. The registration sign-up has been very active for the Academy's wide range of summer golf camps.

Academy Student in the Spotlight - Thomas Lewis.

The Wood Wind Golf Academy would like to congratulate Thomas Lewis as November's Player of the Month. Thomas, a Carmel, IN native, had a tremendous year, completing his 2009 season winning three tour events at The Dye Course, Cascades and Tipton. He also added two runner-up finishes at Round Barn and Crestview to go along with a third place finish at Chippendale. Thomas also scored a victory in his age division at the Age Group Championship. Reflecting on his instruction at the Academy, Thomas has been impressed "by the Academy's technology, and how it's used to improve my game." Well done Thomas!

  • Indiana Age Group Champion 10-11 year olds
  • Qualified for the US Kids World Championship
